Mount Royal University will begin celebrating our centennial in September 2010, making us the second oldest post-secondary institution in Alberta.
From the beginning, Mount Royal faculty and staff have focused their energies on the success of our students. Our roots in the community have made us an integral part of Calgary's history and the everyday lives of Calgarians.
Mount Royal’s centennial is cause for celebration and pride. We want to enter into our next 100 years with a bang — and we intend to have lots of fun as we host the party of the century — literally.

Take Monty the Gnome on vacation with you ... it could make you a winner.
All of Monty’s summer vacation photos will be entered into a draw for a grand prize of a $500 WestJet voucher. There will also be “best of” prizes for things such as “best extreme shot” and “best staycation.”
More than 100 Monty the Gnomes have been claimed, and photos of his vacation have already started to come in. Check out Monty's photo gallery.
