The START program provides resources to hire and train students who work with other students, faculty, and staff in a joint effort to explore the use of technology in teaching and learning by providing technical support, training, and educational project support.
The START program offers employment to current Mount Royal University students. Students who are interested in employment with the START program can stop by the START lab in T106 to fill out an Employment Application form, or complete the online form found on the START website.
START offers:
- Student DROP-IN for one-to-one technology support (no appointment necessary),
- FREE workshops for students with various software... Check workshop board in T106 for more details,
- Online workshop handouts and 'how to' information sheets,
- Faculty educational technology project support,
- In-class training support for scheduled classes and workshops for various software and technology,
- Technology support for faculty and support staff within Mount Royal University.
