Thanks to those who attended the Chapter's 2012 AGM. We thank those who have served on the board in the past and welcome the new board members. A special thanks goes out to Peter Choate who provided an informative presentation on "Issues in Child Protection."

Thank you to the Social Work alumni who attended the Wine and Cheese Reception on March 4, 2011.  A special thank you goes out to Dr. D. Scharie Tavcer. Dr. Tavcer is an Associate Professor in MRU's Department of Justice Studies  who provided an informative presentation entitled "Ethical issues and boundaries in the workplace: Strategies to manage self-care while dealing with challenging clients."

Thanks to the alumni and students who attended the Wine and Reception on February 26, 2010. A special thank you goes out to Deb Bennett who reminded us about the importance of professional and personal self-care. 

Thank you to the alumni who attended the Wine and Cheese Reception on Friday, May 1, 2009 featuring a presentation by the President of ACSW, Randy Harris. A special thank you goes out to Randy who provided an informative presentation on the Alberta College of Social Workers.
