Social Work Alumni Chapter

The Social Work Alumni Chapter was started in January, 2008 and your Chapter Board members will continue to work together to grow and develop a chapter that is attractive to all Social Work program alumni.

Mission

• To provide opportunities for Social Work alumni to network and form partnerships with others in the Mount Royal University community.
• To expand relationships with the current Mount Royal student community and to liaise and support the efforts of the SAMRC Students Society of Social Work (3SW)
• To provide and promote opportunities available to alumni for academic and professional development
• To promote advocacy and social justice within the university community and the community-at-large.
• To promote and support community and charitable activities
• To promote the interests and welfare of the Chapter and the Mount Royal University Alumni Association (MRUAA)

Get involved

We are looking for new members. If you are one of the many alumni from the Mount Royal Social Work program and would like to get involved please contact Shirley Reynolds at sreynolds@mtroyal.ca or 403.440.7047. The membership shall be open to Social Work Alumni who attended programs at Mount Royal University and fit the criteria for alumni status.
