Sport and Recreation Alumni Chapter

The Sport and Recreation Alumni Chapter was started in January, 2010 and your Chapter Board members will continue to work together to grow and develop a chapter that is attractive to all their program alumni.

Mission

To provide opportunities for Sport and Recreation alumni to network and form partnerships with others in the Mount Royal University community.
To promote opportunities available to Sport and Recreation alumni for academic and professional development at Mount Royal University.
To increase awareness of the Bachelor of Applied Business and Entrepreneurship - Sport and Recreation program
To provide mentorship and support to current Sport and Recreation students
To provide opportunities for Sport and Recreation alumni and students to network and form partnership within the Sports and Recreation community
To promote the interests and welfare of the Chapter and the Mount Royal University Alumni Association (MRUAA)

Get Involved

We are looking for new members. If you are one of the many alumni from the Mount Royal Sport and Recreation program and would like to get involved please contact Phil Bernier at philippebernier@hotmail.com or Shirley Reynolds at sreynolds@mtroyal.ca or 403.440.7047.

The membership shall be open to Bachelor of Applied Business and Entrepreneurship -Sport and Recreation Alumni and others who attended Sports and Recreation focused programs at Mount Royal University and fit the criteria for alumni status.The membership shall also be open to current Bachelor of Applied Business and Entrepreneurship -Sport and Recreation students.and retired faculty The Chapter Board of Directors will review and consider applications for membership outside of the above criteria.
