The Mount Royal Conservatory

The Mount Royal University Conservatory is the largest performance-focused program of its kind in Canada.

Since its inception in 1910, the Conservatory has set a standard of excellence in music, theatre and speech. Its unique programming and world-class faculty attract more than 5,000 students each year, both locally and internationally.

The Conservatory offers private instruction in all instruments and for all levels of ability; enrichment courses in speech arts, drama and early childhood musical education; is home to four choirs and seven string orchestras; and offers post-secondary diplomas in Music and Theatre.
