U Fest welcomes award winning Mother Mother to the stage on September 9, 2016
Kick off the school year with a free welcome back all-ages concert for MRU students.
Enjoy great live bands, food trucks, a licensed area, fun activities and a chance to win great prizes.
Vancouver quintet Mother Mother delivers melting vocal harmonies, angular guitar lines and infectious rhythms.
This three-time JUNO-nominated indie rock band are undoubtedly birds of a new sonic evolution. 2017 sees the release of Mother Mother’s sixth album, following the highly successful and critically acclaimed Very Good Bad Thing, with such hits as "Get Out The Way" and "Monkey Tree."Catch Mother Mother, along with Ria Mae and other opening bands on the U Fest stage.

If you plan to have a drink at U Fest please ensure that you drink responsibly and arrange for a safe option to get home. Your options include:
- Arrange for a designated driver
- Call a friend or family member for a ride
- Take a taxi
- Take public transit.
We are also pleased to offer overnight parking in Lot A for those who choose to have a drink at U Fest and leave their car on campus.
On Friday, September 9 you can pay the regular $8/day rate, place the ticket on your dash and your parking will be valid until 10 a.m. the next morning (Saturday, September 10).
Any cars that park overnight that are not removed without renewing parking by 10 a.m. face regular parking fines.
