David Marshall, PhD, came to Calgary in September 2003 as Mount Royal’s eighth College President and in September 2009 became the first President of Mount Royal University.
The President is the Chief Executive Officer, responsible to the Board of Governors and to the General Faculties Council for the supervision of Mount Royal University’s administrative and academic work. The President is supported by staff and advisors, who are responsible for various academic and non-academic services, including:
- the Provost and Vice-President, Academic
- the Vice-President, Administrative Services
- the Vice-President, External Relations
- the Executive Director, Student Affairs and Campus Life
