Mount Royal receives $500,000 donation from TD
First significant donation from a major financial institution since becoming a university
(CALGARY – Sept. 14, 2010) Mount Royal University is pleased to announce that it has received its largest donation from a major financial institution since becoming a university in September 2009. TD Bank Financial Group today presented Mount Royal University’s Bissett School of Business with a generous donation of $500,000. The gift will be specifically allocated for bursaries to be awarded to students who are majoring in the Bissett School of Business Bachelor of Business Administration with a minor in Financial Services.
