Classroom technology workshops (START)

START, which stands for Student Technicians and Resource Tutors, is a program that employs Mount Royal students on a part-time, casual basis to provide drop-in technology support to other students.

In addition, START Techs are able to assist faculty with the delivery of in-class technology workshops for a variety of software including the following:

  • Blackboard
  • Google apps
  • MyMRU
  • MS Office tools
  • Planning for creating a video project
  • Essential tools for MRU students (A brief overview of browsers, Blackboard, myMRU, email, Google apps, and printing on campus)
