Teacher Identity Workshop Series

We often hear that, “we teach who we are”. Do you agree? Join us for this 4-session series of conversations about teacher identity. You will have the opportunity to reflect on “yourself as teacher,” while examining the following questions:

  • How do we construct our idea of teacher?
  • Where do these ideas come from?
  • How important is our identity as teacher?
  • Who is it that we take into the classroom?

The Teacher Identity series is offered in both the fall and winter semesters and both full and part-time faculty members are invited to participate. The series runs for 1.5 hours per week over 4 weeks and participants must be able to attend all sessions.
