Blackboard is the MRU learning management system where you can find posted course information, participate in discussions, post blogs, view course grades, and communicate with your instructor and classmates.

Login to Blackboard, using your username and password, in three different ways:

  1. Go to the Blackboard login page (https://courseware.mymru.ca)
  2. Go to the MyMRU login page (mymru.ca) and, under Useful Links, click on Blackboard
  3. Login to (mymru.ca) and click on the Blackboard icon located in the top-right corner of the page

As with most MRU technology, Blackboard works best in Chrome and Firefox browsers.

And remember, NEVER use a wireless connection when completing online quizzes and exams or you could experience a wireless connection drop!

Final grades are normally posted three business days after writing the final exam, or within three business days of the last day of classes for courses with no final exam.

You can view your grades in MyMRU:
  1. Login to MyMRU (mymru.ca)
  2. Click the My Program tab
  3. Look for the Student Grades box
If it is part way through the semester, you can find your interim grade within your Blackboard course:
  1. Login to Blackboard (http://courseware.mtroyal.ca).
  2. In My Courses, click on the course name
  3. In the left-hand menu, click on Tools
  4. Click on My Grades

Please note, not every instructor enters grades in Blackboard. If you can't access your interim grades through Blackboard, you will need to contact your instructor.

Check out the IT Security page on MRU website to learn how to stay secure and protect yourself from cyber attacks.
