Consultation services are at the heart of ADC’s work with MRU colleagues, allowing us to be intentionally responsive to myriad requests for support related to the professional learning and development needs of faculty and instructional staff. The consultation process acts as a basis for coming to know and understand the range of needs colleagues have. It also supports relationship building with a view to fostering confidence and awareness about expertise available in the Centre. Consultations may be confidential, or shared with other colleagues, they may be initiated by individuals or groups, and vary widely in their focus. Consultations sometimes lead to larger or more formal initiatives, for example, program review, course redesign, or eLearning development.
