Embalmer Certificate


The Embalmer certificate integrates core online courses and experiential learning through a supervised practicum and work experience.

You can register for the Fall Semester classes at this time. The Interactive Course Schedule for the Winter Semester will be available the beginning of October, and you can register for your Winter Semester towards the end of October.
If you wish to complete the certificate in one year, it is recommended that you complete the required courses in the sequence shown. For questions about your course selection, please refer to your detailed advising and program registration package or contact your advisor.

*Embalming Practicum (XFDC 20023) and Restorative Art II (XFDC 20010) are scheduled in Calgary. Students residing outside of the Calgary area will complete these courses in the Spring Semester during an Intensive Institute. Please see your advising and program registration package for details. 
International students completing the program while residing outside of Canada are not required to obtain a Study Permit. For more information, please visit the website
