Now that you have been offered a seat in a Mount Royal program, the following are your next steps:

Read the letter included in your admissions package and follow all instructions.

You must send all official documents (most often transcripts) to Mount Royal by the deadline stated in your letter.

If you don't send us these documents by the deadline you will lose your place in your program.

Pay your $125 non-refundable registration deposit.

(Open Studies students do not need to pay this deposit)

Pay this fee as quickly as possible. This fee holds your place in your Mount Royal program and will be put towards your tuition. To pay this fee, see the “Submission of $125 Registration Deposit” information page included in your admission package. Once your deposit has been processed, you can go on to the next step.

Processing usually takes about two business days.

Set up your MyMRU account.

Get Advised and Registered for Classes -- Sign up for a New Student Group Advising Session

New Student Group Advising Sessions - Find out how to appropriately choose courses for your program goal and how to register using MyMRU.

To register, you will need:

Your first and last name
Your phone number
Your email address
Your nine-digit student identification number
Your program of study/category

A New Student Group Advising Session is a two-hour session where you will:

Learn how to choose classes depending on your educational plan
Receive information that will help prepare you for being a Mount Royal student
Register for classes
Meet an advisor and have an opportunity to have your questions answered

Open Studies students may attend the General Studies Diploma/Open Studies Workshop or, if you are interested in shadowing Arts, Science or Education you may attend those workshops.
