NOTE: Recreation reserves the right to cancel classes due to low registration. Registration in one class is non-transferable to another class (e.g. makeup classes are not allowed).

Gentle Yoga

Learn the fundamentals of Hatha yoga with an emphasis on relaxation and stress release. The use of props allows longer holds than in traditional Hatha yoga and promotes a deeper, gentle stretch that releases connective tissues. This easy-paced relaxing class is ideal for anyone new to yoga or continuing on with yoga. Please wear loose clothing. Yoga mats are provided.

Relax, enjoy and benefit from yoga. Learn relaxation techniques through breathing as well as basic postures to enhance body awareness. These classes challenge anyone looking for a workout for the mind as well as the body. The workout consists of a series of postures linked together with deep breathing techniques that simultaneously strengthen and stretch opposing muscle groups. Please wear loose clothing.
