Continuing Education students

Need a textbook? There are several options for purchasing your textbook.

Come in to the BookStore

The MR BookStore is located at the Lincoln Park Campus, on the first level, opposite the Library. Approximately six weeks prior to the start of each semester there is a printed BookList available at the BookStore's Information Desk which includes non-credit courses. Simply look up your class code e.g. XTED 20400 as found on your registration form or in the Continuing Experience brochure) on the list to find the name of the book you need. All Continuing Education course materials are shelved in the Continuing Education area located in the middle of the Bookstore. Our staff are always happy to assist you if you have any problems locating your course materials.

Go to the first class

The MR BookStore hosts off-campus book sales for many Continuing Education courses. The Centre for Complementary Health Education has sales at Holy Cross Campus at the start of each semester. If you miss the sale, you will then be able to purchase your textbooks at the Bookstore located at the Lincoln Park Campus.

Order your textbook online

You can purchase your textbooks online and arrange for shipping to your home or pick-up at the BookStore. When looking up your textbooks online, here is an example of the information you need from your registration form or the Continuing Experience brochure:

Refund policy

Continuing Education classes have a special refund policy. The textbooks for any course of less than eight weeks duration are non-returnable after the start of the first class. Other textbooks fall under our regular refund policy.

NB: Many Continuing Education classes do not require the purchase of textbooks and/or other course-related materials. If you can't find your class on our BookList, you may want to refer to the Faculty of Continuing Education and Extension Calendar or call 403.440.6875 for more information regarding the specific course requirements.
