We are a Non-Profit organization that operates in close relationship to Mount Royal University. Families served at the centre include Mount Royal University Students, Faculty and Staff as well as the general public. The Before & After School Care Program at St. James School serves families attending same.

Closures for Child Care Centre

Family Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Day, Professional Development Days (Thursday/Friday, 2nd last week in August), Labor Day, Thanksgiving Monday, Remembrance Day, Christmas Eve to New Year's Day (inclusive).

-NEW CSA Approved Outdoor Playground where children enjoy daily physical activities

-Nutritious Snacks provided (both Preschool and Child Care)

-Nutritious Lunch (Child Care)

-Observation booths available for parents to observe their child while at play; open to students learning about child development (most often MRU students)

-Certified in First Aid and CPR

-Cleared Criminal Record Check/ Vulnerability Search

-Certified in Fire Extinguisher Handling

-Ongoing Educational training

-Collectively over 200 years of experience in Early Childhood

Supported Child Care Program — is offered through Calgary and Area Child and Family Services Authority. This program gives children with special needs an opportunity to be included with their peers by providing extra support to facilities. Support is offered free of charge to parents who qualify and are enrolled in child care program.

Affiliation with Mount Royal University Department of Child and Youth Studies — resources and most recent educational knowledge and practices are shared between department and the centre, thereby benefiting all parties involved.
