Computer labs & classrooms

IT Student Computing Services maintains the University's computer labs, classrooms, public kiosks, PCounter stations and Accessibility stations. Students can access the Internet, email and course specific sites ie. Blackboard. Each lab has slightly different software and hours of availability, please refer to the Lab Software list and hours for more detail.

Students with special needs can find Accessibility stations in the Main Library and Open Computing Centres. They are equipped with height adjustable desks, large display monitors as well as Narration & Magnification software.

Looking for an available on-campus computer?

Public kiosks

Public kiosks have been setup around the university for students to use. Students will be able to access their MyMRU email and other specific student information websites. If there are any problems with the computers or the computers have been shutdown, please call the ITS Service Desk at 403.440.6000.
