1. How do I arrange for phone service at MRU?

Phone service/changes and repairs can be coordinated via the IT Service Desk at 403.440.6000 or email itservicedesk@mtroyal.ca.

2. I am moving offices on campus, how do I arrange to have my phone service moved?

Open MRU Frontline and login. Submit a new request.

3. I am looking for a MRU phone number.

Check the MRU Employee Phone Directory.

4. Where do I find a manual for my phone?
5. Are there emergency phones at MRU?

There are 68 Help Phones located throughout Mount Royal with direct access to Security Services and the Safe Walk program.

6. How do I set up my MRU voicemail?

A new voice mail account can be coordinated via the IT Service Desk by calling 403.440.6000 or by sending an email to itservicedesk@mtroyal.ca. Once set up, you will be provided with a PIN.  Additional set up and usage instructions can be found here:

7. How do I access my voicemail?

From your telephone on campus:

1. Dial 8700 or press the message button.
2. Enter your pin.
3. Press #.
4. Listen to the prompts.

From someone else's telephone on campus:

1. Dial 8700 or press the message button.
2. Press *.
3. Enter your ID (your local) followed by #.
4. Enter your PIN followed by #.
5. Listen to the prompts.

From outside the office:

1. Dial 403.440.8700.
2. Hear the Voicemail System Greeting.
3. Press *.
4. Enter your ID (your local) followed by #.
5. Enter your PIN followed by #.
6. Listen to the prompts.

8. I have forgotten my voicemail password, what do I do?

Please call the IT Service Desk at 403.440.6000 or send an email to itservicedesk@mtroyal.ca to have your password reset.

9. I am looking for "Hints and Tips" for the MRU voicemail system?
