ESL students

Dates to live in Residence

The ESL term dates are not the same as Mount Royal's Academic Calendar dates available for Residence. However, ESL students who request to live in Residence will be placed for the full four month semester and residence fees will be for this full semester. Students may apply for just the one semester, or the Fall and Winter semester combined: all residence fees, contracts, and cancellation information will apply.

For example, if your program is for September to November and you apply to live in Residence, your contract and residence fees will reflect Mount Royal's semester calendar of the first day of classes in September to the end of the Fall semester in December. No refunds will be applied for early departure.

Students studying in the Spring term will be placed for April if there is space available, but will likely need to move to Summer housing areas at the beginning of May.

All notification from Residence before your arrival will be sent to the e-mail provided on your application.

If you use either Yahoo or Hotmail as your e-mail provider please ensure the e-mail address: residence@mtroyal.ca is added to your Contacts or Safe Lists. This will ensure that our correspondence is not automatically deposited in a junk mail folder and deleted.
