
Mount Royal welcomes students from other post-secondary institutions coming to Calgary on a co-op / work term, in Residence at the student rate. Our units are fully furnished apartment suites and townhouse units.
As a resident, contracts, code of conduct and all policies do apply.
Application
In addition to all the application information for MR students, the following information will be needed for your application:
When setting up your account in the Residence Portal, for Mount Royal Student ID, please enter 000000000 (9 zeros).
In the Program Information section of the portal application process, from the drop down box, please select 'Non-MRU Student'.
Fees
As you are not an Mount Royal student, your security deposit and residence fees are not part of an MR student account and will need to be paid to Residence Services directly. Once your application and application fee are received, information from Residence Services will inform you how to pay these fees.
Parking
Non-MR students living in Residence may purchase a Parking Permit from Transportation and Parking Services upon arrival as long as our office sends in the request. Once you have been placed in Residence, please let our office know if you will be requiring a Parking Permit.
Please note: Parking Permit assignment is based on availability. Residence Services can not guarantee parking permits during the Academic Year. For more information on Parking Permit availability visit the Transportation and Parking Services website.
