New RA Applicants

Carousel

Carousel is a chance for the professional staff to observe RA applicants rotate through different situations in a station by station fashion. There is no preparation necessary for the carousel interview. We do however encourage applicants to take some time to reflect on why they have applied for a RA position and to dress in an appropriate fashion.

Applicants will sign up for a carousel interview time though the online application. Successful candidates will be notified though email the official date, time and location of their carousel interview.

The two dates and time that are being offered are:

Saturday February 4th from 10:00am – 12:00pm
Sunday February 5th from 10:00am – 12:00pm

Individual Interviews

After the completion of the carousel interview, candidates will be assessed and successful applicants will receive an individual interview. All candidates will be notified by 4:00pm on Sunday February 5th, 2012 on whether they have been successful in achieving an individual interview.

Successful candidates will sign up for an interview time from 9:00am on Monday February 6th, 2012 until 12:00pm (noon) on Tuesday February 7th, 2012 at the Residence Services Front Desk located in West Residence Building B.

Individual interviews will take place from Tuesday February 7th, 2012 until Monday February 13th, 2012.

Returning RA Applicants

Returning RA applicants will be required to take part in an individual interview. Returning applicants will be able to sign up for an interview starting at 9:00am on Wednesday January 18th, 2012 until 4:30pm on Thursday January 19th, 2012.

You will be required to do a 10 minute presentation during your interview. Please note that the presentation can be no longer than the allotted time. The presentation topic will be given out during the team meeting on January 16th, 2012.

Individual interviews for returning applicants will take place from Monday January 23rd, 2012 until Friday January 27th, 2012.
