Peer Educators

Watch our promo video to learn more about the Peer Health Education Program.

All peers, no pressure

Every month, you can learn about timely health issues through events and displays created by the Health Education program and presented by specially trained students called peer health educators.

Peer health educators work to educate their fellow students and the University community about health related issues such as:

  • stress
  • depression
  • drug and alcohol abuse
  • sex and sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
  • building healthy relationships
  • choosing a healthy lifestyle (nutrition and fitness)
  • eating disorders

Get the information you need from knowledgeable people you can relate to – your fellow students.

You can volunteer to be a peer health educator!
