Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) - Insurance Minor students complete an intensive minor designed to build skills and knowledge similar to the Business Administration and Insurance Diploma program. Co-operative Education is an option for BBA students wanting to add practical experience and exposure to their degree through three, full-time 450 hour work terms.
Students in the program have the opportunity to write seven of the Chartered Insurance Professional exams. Since the Business Administration and Insurance Diploma program was founded in 1987, and continuing through evolution to the BBA Insurance Minor, the Canadian insurance industry has been actively involved in developing the curriculum, hiring students for both work terms and full-time employment upon graduation. Graduates from the program are generally 100% employed in the field and most receive multiple offers of employment.
