What should I expect if I attend?

At both Career and Recruitment Fair and Volunteer Recruitment Fair, you can expect 70-80 companies ready to recruit you.

Mount Royal's Main-Street is filled from the east to west end with employers and students ready to connect during a full day of campus recruitment.

At Volunteer Fair employers are looking for students to fill their key volunteer positions. These positions can help students acquire the skills they need to succeed in their future career goals.

At Career Fair employers are looking for students to fill their key employment positions. These positions vary from part time/summer opportunities, all the way to full time graduate level professional jobs.

Both events provide:

  • Face to face networking opportunities with employers in your field of interest
  • Leads to potential career-related opportunities
  • A competitive advantage for those who attend

Employers who attend are looking for students from almost every program here on campus. They want students to ask questions — request information.

Don't assume that "what the company has to offer" is strictly based on their name or the main service they provide. Your future job could be anywhere.

First impressions do make an impact. Dress for the job you want, review job postings before you attend, and customize your resume.
