Canada World Youth (CWY) — is a world leader in the development of international educational programs for youth aged 15 to 25. We work with countries in Africa, Latin America, Asia, the Caribbean, and Eastern Europe.  Since 1971, the CWY program has made it possible for more than 33, 000 young people from 67 countries to have safe and meaningful international experiences, learn about other cultures and contribute to the well-being of their own communities.

Canadian Crossroads International (CCI) — CCI offers volunteer and internship placements within Canada and countries from the south, to educate the public on development issues.

Canadian Executive Service Organization — Volunteer opportunities to provide economic development expertise to Canadian Aboriginal Peoples, non-Aboriginal Canadians, developing nations and Central and Eastern Europe.

Canadian-Based International Development Organization (CUSO) — Originally known as 'Canadian University Services Overseas'.

Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) — Study, work or volunteer abroad.

Global Service Corps — Offers internships with cultural immersion service-learning programs and volunteer opportunities in Thailand and Tanzania.

International Association for Students of Economics and Commerce (AIESEC) — Allows students to choose from over 80 countries to participate in international internships. AIESEC also helps students to find funding and employment in the country of choice.

International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE) — Offers Canadian students (19-30 yrs) that are studying engineering, technical sciences or agriculture and forestry to work abroad for the summer or a co-op semester. Suggested funding sources are also available on this site.

Jet Programme — Japan exchange and teaching opportunities.

Peace Corps — Volunteers serve in 69 countries, working in areas like education, youth outreach and community development, the environment, and information technology.
