About Building Operations

Building Operations supports an outstanding University experience through comprehensive operation, maintenance, and renovation services for buildings owned by Mount Royal University. We are dedicated to creating the best possible environment for learning and research in the safest, most sustainable, innovative, and efficient way.

Building Operations provides quality stewardship and maintenance of campus facilities and buildings and smooth operation of its building systems. Building Operations administers campus operations including heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, electricity, life safety systems, carpentry, and painting. It also develops and implements programs and schedules for preventive maintenance, equipment replacement, and energy conservation.
