Toni GuffeiToni Guffei owns Ratio Marketing, a consulting agency that serves a broad range of industries. Their motto is Everything for a Reason, which refers to the fact that careful marketing research is undertaken to ensure that all initiatives for building a growing company are considered prior to investing in advertising, promotions or public relations.
As an instructor at Mt. Royal, Toni is able to communicate her personal work experiences with the students. This adds a dimension of the “real world” to the course content. She has also taught online courses in Marketing and Marketing Management and makes every effort to incorporate current technology as a tool for engaging students.
In addition to working in the technology, arts, education and business service sectors, Toni is actively involved with non-profit organizations. She is the 2009 President of the Calgary Council for Advanced Technology and volunteers at the Centre for Non-Profit Management (an organization dedicated to advancing non-profit organizations by providing them with cost-effective services).
Her education includes and Master of Business Administration from the University of Victoria, completed in 2000; and a Bachelor of Arts, Economics Major completed, University of Alberta in 1988.
