Mount Royal University recently completed a review of its profitable Event and Theatre Services operations, with the goal of growing revenues and attracting larger and more complex events to campus. This review has led to the creation of a new leadership position to develop and implement a growth strategy and to separate strategic leadership from day-to-day operations.
The Director, Event and Conference Services will provide leadership and strategic direction to a business unit responsible for attracting external events to MRU and coordinating and/or executing logistical and support services that meet or exceed client expectations. The Director is also responsible for building and nurturing positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
