Description: The School of Nursing invites applications for Tenure Track faculty which will commence August 15, 2013, subject to final budgetary approval at the rank of Assistant Professor. Priority will be given to entry level candidates.

Duties: The Mount Royal School of Nursing offers an innovative baccalaureate degree in Nursing with a focus on primary health care and population health.

New faculty are hired into one of two work patterns. The teaching/scholarship/service pattern has a focus on teaching with the requirement that the faculty member be involved in a research program as well as service to the Mount Royal community. The teaching/service pattern has a focus on teaching and service only. There is an option to change work patterns after tenure.
Qualifications: A PhD is preferred, a Masters degree is required and applicants must have at least one degree in nursing. The successful candidate will be qualified to teach theoretical and practice courses across the program; contribute to course and program development and have experience in teaching. Applicants interested in the teaching/scholarship/service pattern should have the ability and intent to pursue a research program.
