Description: The Bissett School of Business is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant to the Dean and as needed, provides support to the Associate Dean and to the Administrative Supervisor. The successful applicant will have strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and is committed to working successfully within a team environment.
 
Duties: • To support, organize and maintain the business and activities of the Office of the Dean
• Prepare, assist and distribute the Dean’s reports, agenda packages and materials
• Record meeting minutes for several committees and groups
• Schedule meetings and activities for the Dean
• Arrange travel itinerary and complete expense reports
• Assist in event planning for functions in the Bissett School of Business
• To organize and maintain current information for Faculty web page and newsletter
• Complete special projects, as assigned
• Support various committees within the Bissett School of Business as needed
 
Qualifications: • 2 years of post secondary education preferred
• 3 – 5 years previous related experience
• Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
• Ability to organize, manage time and multi-task in a busy environment
• Ability to complete work which requires attention to detail within tight deadlines
• Ability to communicate clearly using diplomatic, interpersonal skills.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office
• Flexible and willing to work during special occasions outside regular schedules.
 
Salary: $1,710.00 semi-monthly
