Description: Reporting to the Coordinator, Office of Student Conduct (OSC), the Administrative Assistant will be responsible for supporting the administrative functions of the OSC.
 
Duties: Administrative duties include, but are not limited to:

• Schedule Academic and Non-Academic Review Board hearings, and assist with the preparations as required
• Organize training for new board members as required
• Create student conduct files, including the processing of incident reports
• Maintain student files, including necessary follow-up
• Review and update web and print materials as necessary
• Review and production of community awareness and education materials, including PowerPoint presentations
• Schedule appointments, classroom and departmental presentations, and meetings for OSC personnel
• Communicate between community members and the OSC, including managing OSC e-mail and serving as point-of-contact for OSC-related inquiries
• Make travel arrangements for conferences as required
• Preparation for and participation in community-wide events such as the fall Services Fair
 
Qualifications: • A minimum of Two-Year Diploma from a University or equivalent
• 2 – 3 years related experience
• Familiarity with the administrative functioning of a post secondary environment, the student experience, and the pressures and expectations associated with student life
• Ability to manage conflict
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• In-depth understanding of University policy and procedures, especially with regards to confidentiality
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, dynamic environment
 
Salary: $1,710.00 semi-monthly
