| Description: | Reporting to the Coordinator, Student Recruitment, the Recruitment Officer is responsible for the following duties: |
| Duties: |
• Manage a student recruitment territory by establishing contacts within that area, making arrangements for high school visits and community visits, and tracking the interest of prospective students. The recruitment territory includes Saskatchewan and rural Alberta.
• Meet with students on an appointment basis and correspond with prospective students via email and phone inquiries • Provide accurate and timely information about the University, its programs, admission requirements, services, and facilities in a timely, friendly and professional manner to prospective students • Participate in student recruitment functions including making presentations to groups of prospective students in high schools and community settings |
| Qualifications: |
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent organization skills • Ability to work independently and in a team environment (occasional evening and weekend work required) • Ability to meet deadlines and to work under pressure • Computer skills • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel (extensively during peak periods) |
