Description: The Records & Gifts Administrator reports to the Manager of Advancement Services and provides support to the Department of Development.
 
Duties: The Records & Gifts Administrator’s primary role is to support fund development activities. These responsibilities include:

• Financial
- Management of incoming donation revenues
- Follow-up with donors re pledges
- Calendar and Fiscal year end processing

• Data Base Management
- Maintenance and updates of Data Base
- Document updates to Department procedures

• Correspondence
- Create Donor correspondence and tax receipts
- Respond to Donor needs and inquiries

• Legal
- Ensure compliance with CRA receipting, PCI compliance
- Provide supporting documents for Annual Return, Charity Return and Auditors

• Development Team
- Provide pledge /gift information to Development Team
- Assist with creating donor related documentation and research

• Other general office tasks and back-up support to other Development team members
 
Qualifications: • Business Diploma or Degree
• Minimum three to five years administrative experience with financial responsibilities
• Outstanding organizational and administrative skills
• Excellent communication skills – oral and written
• Ability to multi-task and follow projects through to completion
• Expertise in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel etc) and database software (Banner experience an asset)
 
Salary: Salary range $41,040 - $44,414 plus benefits
