Description: Reporting to the Program Coordinator, the Program Assistant is responsible for assistance with the administration of courses and programs within the Arts, Science & Technology Area area.
 
Duties: • Assists with product ordering, updating and delivering for art courses
• Assisting with word processing and organization of course materials and instructional contacts
• Liaison with instructors, students and University support services
• Data entry and assisting with telephones and word processing
• Participating as a team member in daily procedures
• Assists in the set-up and maintenance of on-line courses
 
Qualifications: • two year diploma from a college or equivalent
• one to two years’ experience in an office environment
• computer skills – word processing, spreadsheets, data bases
• excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
• strong organizational and time management skills
• attention to detail and accuracy
• ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• familiarity and comfort level with online class management and systems
• ability to work with minimal supervision on a daily basis
 
Salary: $1,744.21 semi-monthly
