Description:

The Administrative Assistant performs a range of administrative duties to support the effective day-to-day operation off the Dean’s Office, Faculty of Science & Technology.

 
Duties:
  • Act as primary contact, liaison and central communication link to internal and external parties with the Dean’s Office
  • Provide support to the Associate/Assistant Deans
  • Responsible for agenda/minutes of Standing Committees within the Faculty
  • Format, produce and distribute a variety of written correspondence and documents
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings and special events
  • Manage the Web Site 
 
Qualifications:
  • Two year diploma from a community college, or equivalent
  • Experience in a post secondary environment preferred
  • Excellent word processing skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills
  • Well developed budgetary and accounting skills
  • Experience updating and editing web pages
  • Ability to prioritize work 
 
Salary: $1,744.21 semi-monthly
