Now that you've been accepted, what's next?

 Plan your schedule

Select your courses by using the Program Planning Guide - Personal Fitness Trainer Diploma.

Full time
To complete your diploma within two years, follow these sample schedules.

Part time
Want to slow things down? Register for as many or as few courses as fits your schedule. You have up to 6 years to complete the program. 


Get Registered

Now that you have selected your courses, the next step is to register.

 Step-by-step instructions:

  1. Look up courses via MyMRU> Register & Pay> Look up Course(s)
  2. Search by term (e.g. Fall 2017 CREDIT or Winter 2018 CREDIT) and then Submit
  3. Select the subject and click Course Search

Personal Fitness Trainer               XPFT

Tip: You can choose both subjects by holding CTRL while selecting each subject.

  1. Find the course name and number (e.g. XPFT 21002 Health Promotion and Training) and click on View Sections.
  2. Select your courses for the semester and Submit.

Add/drop dates, fee deadlines and withdraw dates will follow the Academic Schedule


Pay your tuition

Once you have registered, your tuition is due according to the Academic Schedule. See Payment Options.

Get your textbooks and supplies

Find your textbooks at the BookStore. Use the subject codes in your Program Planning Guide

Some of your courses will require additional supplies. Details will be provided by your instructor and on your course outlines.
