If you are interested in creating a comic book or graphic novel, this program is designed to offer practical, hands-on experience creating comics and graphic novels in this growing industry.  Layout, illustration, character creation, story-telling, editing, self-publishing and marketing will be the key topics covered.

Storytelling Overview: Comics & Graphic Novels
In this course, you will explore the history of storytelling and the differences between fiction and non-fiction. You will discover the process of creating a storyboard. Build and practice your skills in scriptwriting, designing characters, and developing character relationships.

Most Comic and Graphic Novelists must employ self-promotion to get their material to the public. You will learn about various ways to fund and promote your story including print and online formats. Learn about marketing your work and developing swag for Expos.
