Digital graphic design is the application of the artistic, technical and business aspects of graphic design in a virtual environment.

Develop your creative talents, learn leading software programs and explore the principles of visual design to create an outstanding portfolio. Expand your graphic design skills for personal and professional growth. All courses in this certificate are offered by experienced instructors in our PC computer labs on campus.

Learn tools, techniques and concepts in introductory and advanced courses in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, the leading software programs in graphic design. Build your digital drawing skills, learn how to lay out documents to maximum effect and manipulate photos to create the images you want.

Create a portfolio of your art and design work that you can share with potential clients. Learn valuable skills and knowledge that you can use in your business, including copyright issues, client relations, contracts and project management.

Effective May 1, 2024, the Photoshop 2, Illustrator 2 and InDesign 2 courses will no longer be offered and the Digital Graphic Design Extension Certificate program will be streamlined to 5 required courses (99 hours).
