Elaine Mullen began her career at Mount Royal in 1969. Since then, she has witnessed the governance of six Mount Royal presidents and has actively participated in the growth and transformation of the institution. During her tenure in the English Department, Elaine has taught a variety of courses, developed curriculum and programmes, and worked on innumerable committees, most recently serving as faculty representative on the MRU Board of Governors. Her current interests include writing, critical thinking, brain-based pedagogy, language and learning.
