Bachelor of Arts in  English Requirements

To graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in English, you must take a total of 40 courses (or 120 credits), of which a maximum of 16 may be at the first-year level. Each course taken can fill only one requirement within your program. ENGL 1101, even if taken to fulfill a GNED requirement, counts toward the maximum number of ENGL courses allowed in your program. You may take as many as 24 ENGL courses.

One Language/LinguisticsAny credit course taken at MRU involving instruction in linguistics (LING) or a language other than English (CHIN, FREN, GERM, ITAL, JPNS, SPAN) is eligible to fill this requirement. ENGL 3306 also fills this requirement.
