History Minor


The minor in History allows students to explore a wide array of topics that range from the ancient past to the present and which span a number of countries and themes. The minor allows students to choose from a variety of courses in which they can take part in activities such as performing archival research, volunteering, travelling, and participating in hands-on field work. The minor exposes students to a broad range of historical knowledge and understanding and teaches students to think critically and how to collect, interpret and present evidence. These skills and knowledge are useful to a wide variety of professions such as law, education, politics, business and economics.
