Mission
To provide a supportive and effective learning environment where interior design students explore the design and construction of spatial environments. A holistic framework supports design that considers the safety, health and well-being of the people who interact with and within built environments.

The Bachelor of Applied Interior Design has been designed to provide the skills and experience required in professional practice. Mount Royal University's respected interior design degree has the distinction of being one of only five CIDA accredited undergraduate programs in Canada. This rigorous certification means that students are ensured of an extremely high quality educational program. In order to become a registered or licensed interior designer in Canada, interior design graduates must be from a CIDA accredited program.

Mount Royal's Bachelor of Applied Interior Design degree prepares students for this dynamic profession through a combination of theory, studio-based projects and paid work experience through Directed Field Studies.
