Anupam Das has a PhD in Economics from the University of Manitoba, with a specialization in Development Economics and International Finance. He holds a BA (Honours) in Economics from the University of Delhi and MA in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University in India. Prior to joining Mount Royal University in 2010, Anupam taught at King's University college at the University of Western Ontario, and at the University of Manitoba. He also worked as a consultant with the World Bank, and the United Nations Development Program. His teaching interests include macroeconomics, international finance and development economics.
