Beth Everest has taught at MRC since 1988. She holds a MA in Creative Writing and Literature from the University of Windsor, and a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Calgary. Her doctoral work focuses on the conflicting roles and language of a woman as mother, writer and academic. Her teaching interests include writing, and contemporized classical mythologies. She teaches, primarily but not exclusively, creative writing and composition. In another life, she makes silver jewelry.
