Christine Mains is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Calgary, working in the area of fantasy and science fiction literature and popular culture. She has published on authors Charles de Lint, Patricia McKillip, and Joan Vinge and on the television show Stargate SG-1. She serves on the executive board of the International Association for the Fantastic in the Arts and as editor for the SFRA Review. She teaches ENGL 2210, 2211, 2201, and 3395.
