Carla Pasternak holds a PhD in English from the University of Wisconsin. She also holds an MBA from the U of Calgary. She has been teaching at Mount Royal for over 20 years, in both the Department of English and the Bissett School of Business. Her specialty is introductory and intermediate composition and literature courses. She has also taught business communications and founded an investor relations agency which designs, writes, and produces shareholder communications for oil and gas, real estate, and technology firms mostly based in Alberta.
