George Lyon did his Ph.D. work on Folkloric & Popular Poetry of Alberta. His interests are Folklore, Popular Culture, 19th & 20th Century American & Canadian literature and Cultural interchange, especially in music. He plays guitar, banjo, oud, & various other instruments and performs Darwin impersonations. He teaches English 2201, 2235, 2231, 0130, 2237.
