I teach a variety of English courses from introduction to fiction and to dramatic literature to intermediate composition. Two of my favourite courses are Women's Literary Tradition I and Women's Literature Tradition II (Women's Utopian Writings) primarily because in these courses I get to teach feminist literary theory alongside women's literature. A new course I am looking forward to teaching is Sexualities/Textualities. This course coincides with my research interests in representations of gender and the sexual outsider in literature, popular culture, and other media. Additional areas of research include Ann-Marie MacDonald's fiction and her use of border crossings in all its many forms.
